Joe Clohesy founded Joe’s in 1962, when he bought it from Larry. Yes, it used to be Larry’s Fox Hut. Joe was a well liked man around town and a fine bartender. He leased out the back kitchen where pizza is still being made today to a couple of different Businesses in the 1960’s. About 1970 Joe’s daughter, Mary Jo, suggested to Joe that he come up with his own pizza, and he did. It’s what we’ve been serving ever since.

Mary Jo along with husband Ron and their 2 sons, Mike and Nick, have been running Joe’s Fox Hut since Joe’s death in 1993. Business has been strong, and we’ve been recognized by local reader’s surveys as the place to get pizza in Fond du Lac. Proudly, we’ve been voted the BEST PIZZA for over ten years now!

When you’re at Joe’s be sure to stop at bar for a beer, cocktail or soda, then make your way through the dining room to the kitchen to place your order. We’ll bring it out to you. If you feel like staying in, just call (920) 923-2300. We’ll be happy to deliver it right to your door. Our 5 delivery trucks are equipped with ovens on the back to ensure your food arrives piping hot. If pizza is not your thing, we offer fish, chicken strip dinners, and a variety of appetizers. Some of our most requested are the wings and the combo platters and don’t forget the homemade cheese bread, that will compliment any meal. Once your order is placed our restaurant makes each pizza with fresh ingredients.
